That’s just what’s happening in Redfall, and the residents of the island are desperately in need of a hero… or four. That’s where Redfall’s team of vampire slayers come in. Who are these heroes trying to save Redfall? Get to know each of them in our Meet the Heroes of Redfall series.
Layla Ellison – The Telekinetic Threat
Before Redfall descended into chaos and was taken over by a whole host of vampires and their god-like leaders, Layla Ellison was just a student at Redfall Technical University studying Biomedical Engineering. Unfortunately, this saddled her with an enormous amount of student debt and to pay it off, Layla signed up for a medical study at Aevum Therapeutics. Then something terrible happened at Aevum, and Layla ended up with telekinetic powers. Now she can use her umbrella as a shield, create elevators with her mind and call in her vampire ex-boyfriend, Jason. They’re still on good terms, and he’s always down to lend a helping hand in a fight. With the help of Jason, her trusty telekinetic umbrella and her sharp wit, Layla’s ready to kick vampire ass!
Jacob Boyer – The Deadeye with the Undead Eye
You definitely don’t want to get caught in Jacob’s line of fire. A former special forces sniper for the military, Jacob went mercenary following his discharge. A corporate contract with the private military company Bellwhether Security brought him to the charming town of Redfall on confidential orders.
When Redfall fell to the vampires, Jacob had a nasty run-in with one of the vampiric “gods” now ruling the island, leaving him with strange powers and a spectral raven companion. Jacob is tough, used to doing what he must to survive, but will he be able to fight back against the vampires threatening to destroy Redfall? He doesn’t have much of a choice. There’s no way off the island.
Remi de la Rosa – The Ingenious Ingeniera
Remi has always been driven to protect the people around her. This led her to the Coast Guard, where she dedicated her life to rescuing the survivors of disasters. An expert combat engineer with a degree from MIT, Remi designed her prototype robot Bribón for bot-assisted search and rescue missions. Shortly after the Coast Guard brought her to Redfall, the island descended into chaos, and Remi is determined to use everything she’s got to aid those trapped on the island.
Meet Devinder Crousley – The Verified Cryptid Hunter
Cryptozoologist, self-taught inventor and online influencer, Devinder knows everything about things that some people don’t believe exist (such as the Mothman). He’s passionate about weird, wonderful and hidden creatures and wants to share that passion with the world.
Devinder headed to Redfall to promote his most recent book, “Like a Mothman to the Flame,” only to find himself trapped on the island, unable to stream to his loyal online fans. On the plus side, he finds that the homemade inventions he uses to track down cryptids finally work and are invaluable in the team’s struggle to take down the vampire gods.
