QUAKE Aug 21, 2017 Quake World Championships Heads to QuakeCon 2017
The inaugural Quake World Championships, the ultimate esports showcase of pure skill in Quake Champions, is moving on to the Global Finals after weeks of intense competition from some of the greatest professional players in the world. At QuakeCon 2017 (August 24-26 in Dallas, Texas), the best of the best will fight it out on the main stage for their share of the $1 million prize pool and to claim their place amongst the legends of esports’ founding franchise. Marking the event’s 21st year, id Software and Bethesda Softworks are pleased to announce that QuakeCon 2016 will once again host several charitable organizations to give back to the valued community that has supported the annual event for over two decades. QUAKE Feb 26, 2019 Server Reorganization
On Tuesday, February 26, we will be reorganizing the datacenter selection menu to better illustrate which geographical regions each datacenter serves, and we will be spooling down servers that split population regions. By expanding coverage for each location in this way, players should see shorter queue times and have access to a wider pool of players for closer skill-based matchmaking. View
