Marking the event’s 21st year, id Software and Bethesda Softworks are pleased to announce that QuakeCon 2016 will once again host several charitable organizations to give back to the valued community that has supported the annual event for over two decades. The DOOM Open Beta finished earlier this week and thanks to your participation over the course of the weekend, we got a lot of great information. The server backend infrastructure held up really well to the load, and we got all of the data we need in preparation for the worldwide launch on May 13. Based on your feedback we had already made a considerable number of updates and improvements between the Closed Betas and Open Beta, and we appreciate all the additional feedback you shared with us during the Open Beta. Bethesda is proud to be partnering with Twitch to bring The Elder Scrolls: Legends to Seattle, Washington from September 2 through 5 in the PAX Arena 4A at PAX West 2016. The PAX Arena will feature nonstop action such as sit and go tournaments, dev live streams, streamer matches and much more. We’ll be streaming developer matches throughout the show, and we’ve also enlisted some awesome streamers to help us out. We’re excited to welcome fan favorites <a href="https://twitter.com/TrumpSC">TrumpSC</a>, <a href="https://twitter.com/itshafu">Hafu</a>, <a href="https://twitter.com/Kolento">Kolento</a> and <a href="https://twitter.com/NumotTheNummy">Kenji</a> to PAX West. DOOM Jun 30, 2016 DOOM – Update #1 Now Available
DOOM’s first post-launch game update is now live on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Steam. Update #1 introduces several new features, including a Photo Mode for taking in-game screenshots, and a new weapon placement view option, which centers your weapons similar to the original game. The update also includes improvements, optimizations and fixes for more commonly reported bugs. See below for a full list of everything in Update #1. View
