Humans like to categorize and organize things. Our brains are wired to be really good at it. We experience a ton of information every day, and our brains process and organize a lot of it passively and instantaneously. At a basic level, there are categories of “don’t care about this right now” to “this is something I want to pay attention to.” This allows us to focus on the things we want or need to do without feeling overwhelmed by all the noise. For example, if we drive to work, we see thousands of objects but we automatically put some things into the “pay attention” category -- things like traffic signals, pedestrians, and other cars. View

It’s absolutely sweltering in Dallas, but inside the Hilton Anatole the attendees of <a href="/#en/events/article/quakecon-2016-news-and-updates/2016/08/04/168">QuakeCon 2016</a> seem unaffected by the heat outside. This year was my first time experiencing this epic con, and I can honestly say it may be my new favorite show. Now in its twenty-first year, North America’s largest LAN party is a heartfelt love letter to all fans of gaming. QuakeCon isn’t just <em>for</em> the fans, it’s also by the fans. Every year, dedicated volunteers come together to help stage the entire show. They lay cable in the BYOC, set up the exhibit halls, manage the rowdy show floor and so much more. The show really wouldn’t be possible without them. That’s why Bethesda interviewed these fans to produce a documentary that shines the spotlight on these individuals and what they do every single year to make sure QuakeCon is amazing for everyone attending. The Elder Scrolls Aug 31, 2016 The Elder Scrolls: Legends - Monthly Card Reveal
One of the great things about working on a digital card game like The Elder Scrolls: Legends is that we have a variety of ways to release content. Today, we’re going to introduce one of Legends’ most unique ways to shake things up: monthly cards. The monthly card will be revealed with about ten days to go in each month and you’ll earn them based on your ranked progress. You earn one copy of the monthly card for each major constellation you reach: 1 for Mage, 2 for Warrior and 3 for Thief. If you can’t quite reach Thief, no worries. Monthly cards can be soul summoned after they’re released. They’ll also be added to the Arena! View
