The Elder Scrolls Aug 31, 2016 The Elder Scrolls: Legends - Monthly Card Reveal
One of the great things about working on a digital card game like The Elder Scrolls: Legends is that we have a variety of ways to release content. Today, we’re going to introduce one of Legends’ most unique ways to shake things up: monthly cards. The monthly card will be revealed with about ten days to go in each month and you’ll earn them based on your ranked progress. You earn one copy of the monthly card for each major constellation you reach: 1 for Mage, 2 for Warrior and 3 for Thief. If you can’t quite reach Thief, no worries. Monthly cards can be soul summoned after they’re released. They’ll also be added to the Arena! View

Humans like to categorize and organize things. Our brains are wired to be really good at it. We experience a ton of information every day, and our brains process and organize a lot of it passively and instantaneously. At a basic level, there are categories of “don’t care about this right now” to “this is something I want to pay attention to.” This allows us to focus on the things we want or need to do without feeling overwhelmed by all the noise. For example, if we drive to work, we see thousands of objects but we automatically put some things into the “pay attention” category -- things like traffic signals, pedestrians, and other cars. View

The competitive TESL Champion Series Elite Circuit is about midway through its first season, and Legends’ best players have been duking it out for a spot in the four-person Grand Final. Dust was the first player to qualify, and with the second Championship concluded, we’re proud to present another: Emikaela! After plowing her way through the Championship and locking a spot in the Grand Final, she was gracious enough to take some time to answer some questions about her strategy and experience in Legends thus far. Many of the races in The Elder Scrolls: Legends benefit from being grouped together in a deck. When you build a deck around the Redguards, you’ll get a powerful group of magic-wielders with a penchant for weaponry. A Khajiit-centric deck is guaranteed to contain a large number of cards with the Pilfer keyword, an ability that only gets better the longer you keep your cards in play. But no race-themed deck packs a brutal punch quite like an Orc deck. View
