DOOM 2016年8月19日 The High Five – Nathan DeLuca’s DOOM Marine Cosplay
Nathan DeLuca knows a thing or two about ripping and tearing. After all, the 26-year-old professional cosplayer is an expert at destroying demons and crafting costumes. As a huge fan of DOOM, DeLuca took on the task of suiting up as the game’s iconic DOOM Marine for his latest costume, and the end result was truly out of this world. In our latest Bethesda High Five, we chatted with Nathan about the process of creating his impressive Praetor Suit costume, and learned what it’s like to bring the DOOM Marine to life through cosplay. 查看

DOOM 2016年9月22日 DOOM – Free Update #3 Now Available
The wait is over. Deathmatch is now available as part of DOOM’s Free Update #3! The free-for-all multiplayer mode has been one of the top requests from DOOM fans, and today we’re happy to make it a reality. As you may have seen during the Deathmatch gameplay premiere on the Xbox livestream, Deathmatch is a hectic mode that forgoes the comforts of team-based combat. Players must rely solely on their own individual skill to come out on top, with no teammates or Demon Runes to help them out. In Deathmatch, it’s every Marine for himself, so be prepared to Fight Like Hell. 查看
DOOM 2016年9月28日 Inside the DOOM Score – Mick Gordon Interview
Like any great composer, Mick Gordon began with a full immersion into the essentials of his subject matter. For Gordon, that meant traveling from his home in Australia to id Software’s Dallas-based studio, having some good old-fashioned Texas BBQ with the developers… then slaying each other in heated rounds of Team Deathmatch. It’s all in a day’s work for Gordon, who then got started on crafting the score for DOOM. 查看
DOOM 2015年9月04日 Build It Yourself With DOOM SnapMap
What, exactly, is SnapMap? “At its core it’s a very easy to use content-creation tool that works regardless of what platform you play on,” says id Software Executive Producer Marty Stratton. Whether you’re an aspiring level-designer or someone who simply wants to uncover all the best that the community has created, SnapMap offers endless possibilities to extend the DOOM experience. But don’t think that “easy to use” means SnapMap is overly simplistic. 查看

DOOM 2015年10月22日 DOOM Multiplayer Closed Alpha
Before we dive into any details about DOOM’s Closed Alpha multiplayer tests, let’s get a few housekeeping details out of the way. First, these are not Betas, nor are they game demos. Instead, these are a series of closed tests with limited functionality – in the case of tomorrow's Closed Alpha, one map, one mode, and a partial selection of weapons and equipment – with the goal of banging on a bunch of back-end functionality in a real-world setting. 查看
DOOM 2015年12月10日 DOOM Turns 22!
It was easily one of the boldest and most badass moments of the Nineties. On December 10, 1993, the original DOOM was born... and since then videogames have never been the same. While id Software’s seminal shooter wasn’t the first FPS to hit the market – id’s own Wolfenstein is widely credited with launching the first-person-shooter genre – just about everyone agrees that DOOM popularized what continues to be one of the most-played genres today. 查看
