Lonestar—a pioneer in the data storage industry, researching ways to keep the Earth’s quintillions of bytes of data safe—is launching a historic lunar space mission to put the first off-planetary data center on the Moon. Lonestar’s upcoming Mission, the Freedom Mission, launches from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida this February.
