RAGE 2 – May Wasteland Challenges
RAGE 2
RAGE 2 is finally here, and to celebrate the arrival of the game, we have a series of weekly community challenges for everyone to take part in. Kick ass at these Wasteland Challenges, and we’ll reward those who took part with sweet new weapon skins. Play the game, get free stuff. Not a bad deal. Each of these challenges will kick off on a Friday, so keep an eye on the RAGE Twitter account and the in-game Message of the Day to see the current challenge.
In order to help your fellow players with the challenges, you just need to make sure you’re online and signed in with your Bethesda.net account. This is also how we’ll be able to tell who to reward with skins, so keep it in mind. Without further ado, here’s the full breakdown for the May Wasteland Challenges.
Kill Trials of the Vomit Comet – May 17 through May 23
The Trade Coalition is looking for people with a very particular set of skills… people like you. They need a Ranger’s help clearing out the competition in the wasteland. For this week’s community challenge, you’ll need to take out 100,000,000 baddies. If that seems like a high number, remember you’ll have plenty of help from your fellow Rangers. Complete the challenge, and everyone will get the new Vomit Comet Pistol Weapon Skin.
Kill Shit, Get Paid – May 24 through May 30
The second community challenge is simple: Get out there and wreak havoc on local faction hideouts! Clear out 250,000 enemy camps and we’ll reward everyone with the slick Dream Catcher Assault Rifle skin.
Bring the Ruckus – May 31 through June 6
This is both an in-game event and a Wasteland Challenge. Strange singing has been scaring off folks and disrupting some supply routes before they can even get off the ground. Reports coming in say some odd Mutant Crusher is the source of this problem, so the threat is unfortunately legitimately annoying... and lethal. While you're out performing your helpful, hostile-hewing, find and put an end to this Ruckus! Doing so will get you the No-School Wingstick skin for a little RAGE 1 flavor.
