The High Five: #LoveLetterToFans
Time flies when you’re having fun.
This week our official Twitter handle, @bethesda, reached a major milestone: 1 Million Followers! On behalf of the entire community team, I can tell you it’s a thrill to look for fan content to tweet, RT, and even share with our dev teams. The content you create makes our job easy.
To celebrate the milestone, we wanted to look back at some of the earliest tweets, but apparently archives only go back to the last 3,200 tweets. Hmm.
So rather than spending too much time looking back (sorry, I couldn’t resist), this week’s Bethesda High Five highlights recent tweet-worthy fan contributions.
DOOM – GIF Like Hell
@Digressive’s recent DOOM tribute has all the makings of a great tweet: He takes full advantage of the #FightLikeHell hashtag and distills the trailer down to a 7-second GIF.
The Brigmore Witches – Lizzy in Full Stride
As you get ready for Dishonored 2, artist @Naimlyarts pays homage to one of the most memorable and spirited characters – Lizzy Stride – from the original’s final DLC, The Brigmore Witches.
Fallout 4 – Homemade Energy Weapons
Remember tweets without video? Neither do I, and this look inside @RockIt_Art’s reminds us of the amazing attention to detail Fallout fans put into their weapons and cosplay.
