Bethesda Celebrates Pride 2021
June marks the official start of Pride month around the world, and we’re thrilled to join the celebration at Bethesda.
Pride month is important, but we are also continuing our commitment to inclusivity all year round, finding ways to create meaningful change both internally for our employees and externally for our players in LGBTQIA+ communities.
Last year, we launched our Pride ZeniMax ERG (employee resource group), which set out to ensure an equitable company culture and positive representation within the company and our games. We look forward to working with the diverse leaders within the ERG to further promote visibility and inclusivity.
This year, we are proud to donate to OutRight Action International, an organization selected by the ERG for their important work within international, regional and national levels to research, document, defend and advance human rights for LGBTIQ people around the world. You can read all about the organization and the work they’ve done on their website. Throughout the month of June, we’ll be enabling donations during our livestreams on our Bethesda Twitch channel, so you can watch your favorite Bethesda streams and donate to OutRight Action International.
Bethesda is proud of be part of the Microsoft family. In celebration of Pride, Microsoft is donating a total of $150,000 to nonprofits that support and advocate for LGBTQIA+ communities around the world. You can learn more here.
We’re also excited to share a new Bethesda Pride t-shirt, available in the Bethesda Gear Store (US) and the Bethesda Store (EU). The shirt is available for pre-order now and can be purchased until June 30, 2021.
