Enter Ohio – or at least, what remains of it after being charred to a crisp during The Great War. While dry and dusty, the area is far from desolate as players discover new factions making their way in the wastes, unique weapons and gear to loot and new wildlife, including new fish to catch!
The gulches of Burning Springs are also home to new public events, challenges and quests for players to take on. This includes crossing paths with the Rust King, a Super Mutant warlord ruling over his claim of Burning Springs under the law of might-makes-right, or wrangling local fauna like the vicious Rad Hog, (a potential Pet for your C.A.M.P.!) and more.
Meet The Ghoul & Go Bounty Hunting
There’s a familiar face at The Last Resort, a lonely little saloon located in Burning Springs’ Highway Town. The Ghoul, as seen in the Fallout television series, makes his way to Fallout 76, offering players the chance to pursue a new kind of mission: Bounty Hunting.
Voiced in-game by none other than Walton Goggins, The Ghouls possesses a seemingly endless stack of Bounty Hunting missions, ranging from lowly Grunt Hunts to prized Head Hunt bounties. Players can take a selection of these targets off The Ghouls’ hands, earning rewards for hunting Appalachia’s baddies and access to bigger (and deadlier) bounties for you and your posse.

Releasing alongside the Burning Springs update, the newest Season for Fallout 76 is here to plunder! Season 23: Blood x Rust features a Raider’s hoard of items to unlock from rusted Workbenches for your C.A.M.P. to a snazzy, faintly familiar Checkered Suit and so much more!
