Greetings Wanderers, Dovahkiins and Supernatural Assassins.
PAX Australia is this weekend, and it’s time to let you know about the amazing things Bethesda has planned for you. This year, we’re shaken things up a bit so make sure you get acquainted with the new schedule.
The Elder Scrolls Legends
Qualifier Tournament: Friday 11am - 4pm AEDT, Origin Booth, & Finals: Saturday 10am – 2pm AEDT, PAX Arena
To kick things off with a bang we will be hosting a 16-player Legends tournament in the PAX Arena on Saturday morning. To qualify for this tournament you will need to take part in the open qualifiers being hosted in the Origin booth at PAX Australia on Friday from 11am until 4pm. The top eight players will qualify for the finals on Saturday, and the finals winner will walk away with a very special Bethesda prize pack.

Treasure Hunt: All three days
This year at PAX Australia you’ll have the opportunity to unlock Emily Kaldwin and Corvo Attano’s powers as you explore the show floor with the ‘Unlock Your Powers’ treasure hunt app. As you unlock more powers you’ll be able to enter the drawing to win one of our amazing prize packs, which will include one of 3 custom Dishonored 2 Xbox One consoles.
Be sure to keep an eye on the Dishonored Facebook page and Twitter account for more updates about the app and hints to the six locations you’ll need to investigate in order to find and unlock each power. (Treasure hunt rules can be found here http://www.bethesdaevents.com.au/terms-and-conditions/)
Emily’s Throne: All three days, outside the main expo hall
While you’re exploring PAX Australia, be sure to visit Emily’s throne, which will be located outside the main expo hall. You might even be able to sneak a photo with Emily or Delilah themselves, or perhaps you just want to see what it’s like to sit on the throne and rule over the Empire of the Isles.
The World of Dishonored 2 with Arkane Studios’ Sebastien Mitton: Saturday 1:30am – 2:30pm AEDT, GameSpot Theatre
Join the team from GameSpot as they sit down with Arkane Studios’ Art Director Sebastien Mitton to discuss the creative direction behind Dishonored 2. If you’re a fan of Dishonored you definitely won’t want to miss this.
Skyrim Special Edition
Get Your Free Bourke Street Bakery Skyrim Sweet Roll: All three days starting at 7am AEDT, Queue Hall
Did someone steal your sweet roll? To celebrate the release of Skyrim Special Edition, the first thousand adventurers to come see us in the PAX Australia Queue Hall each day will receive their very own freshly made sweet roll, free of charge.
DOOM
Behind the Music: Friday, 6pm- 7pm AEDT, Dropbear Theatre
Are you ready to rip and tear your way into the music of DOOM? Join composer Mick Gordon for a unique and personal look at what went into creating the incredible DOOM soundtrack. Panel attendees will also have the chance to get their hands on some amazing DOOM giveaways.
Our friends at Origin PC will also be showcasing DOOM on their booth!
Bethesda Trivia: Friday 7:30pm – 8:30pm AEDT, Dropbear Theatre
Do you know your Guars from you’re Mirelurks? What’s the difference between a Cacodemon and a Cyberdemon? Can you tell a synth from a human? (Seriously can you because even we aren’t sure about that.) If you answered yes to any of these questions, join the local Bethesda team and some special guests for an evening of fun trivia and lots of opportunities to score some great loot while showing off your knowledge of all things Bethesda.
