Dishonored 2

The original Dishonored quickly became a fan-favorite game when it released in October 2012.

With a distinctive steampunk setting, a deep and detailed story, and innovative first-person combat that prioritized the players’ ability to choose how they tackle any situation, Dishonored was both a critical darling and smash hit. Since its release, gamers have been eager to return to the Empire of the Isles – and now they have the opportunity to not only revisit Dunwall with Dishonored Definitive Edition, but also explore an entirely new region thanks to the newly announced sequel. But before we dive into Dishonored 2, let’s take a look at the announce trailer.

Along with the new setting, the trailer revealed what’s easily one of the most exciting elements about the upcoming sequel: a new playable character. While fans recognized Emily Kaldwin, she’s grown up quite a bit since we saw her in the first game. With that in mind, we asked Co-Creative Director Harvey Smith for more details on Emily – including some insights into who she’s become and how she plays in Dishonored 2. Check out our exclusive chat right here.

Dishonored 2 will be available in 2016 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. But to tide you over, Co-Creative Directors Raphael Colantonio and Smith also revealed Dishonored Definitive Edition, coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One this August. Here’s the full reveal of both games from this year’s #BE3 Showcase.

There’s a lot to talk about with Dishonored 2, so be sure to check out BethesdaNet, where we’ll have more exclusive videos and features about the sequel and the Definitive Edition.
