New Forums. New Adventure

At Bethesda, we’re proud to have some of the best communities in gaming.

Your passion inspires us. Your creativity motivates us. Your love for our games shines through in everything you do – even when you’re giving us the toughest of feedback.

That’s why we’re excited to announce our new community portal on Bethesda.net. Aptly titled community.bethesda.net, this will become your new home for discussing all things Bethesda.

Well not all things… not just yet. With more than a decade of memories on our old forums, you can’t just pack everything in one box and be done with it. We're going to transition everything over a period of time to make sure it goes smoothly, starting with this Bethesda.net General Discussion Board.

What's General Discussion for? We want to hear from you on how we can make these forums – and Bethesda.net as a whole – meet your needs. We'll be regularly collecting feedback with our team so we can improve your experience.

On that note, we should mention these boards are powered by Jive. They create forums for some of the biggest operations around the globe. That means we’re not just in good company, but we also have a heaping helping of new tricks and tools at our disposal. Our community team has been tirelessly toiling away to fully grasp all the bold new possibilities in front of us. Over the past couple of months, it's been amazing to see Forum Admin Guru Cartogriffi (AKA Andrew Griffiths) and Community Manager Jurassica (that’s Jessica Finster) dig in to see how we can improve our forum experience. There's a ton of potential, and Cartogriffi has already put together a useful guide packed with tips for getting the most from our new forums.

So what about the old forums? They'll be getting archived over time as we move titles over. In the very near future, you’ll begin to see the Fallout and DOOM forums moving over. As each title transitions, we'll be allotting some time for folks to close up conversations before they’re archived. For our longstanding friends that have been supporting the forums since Morrowind, you'll probably be the last to move over.

Before you start posting, we also ask that you take a look at the new forum rules. We know we have one of the most welcoming forum communities out there, and look forward to that continuing on Bethesda.net. Please be respectful to fellow members, moderators and even the admins.

And for those of you participating in this week’s closed beta for Fallout 4’s Automatron DLC, you’ll have access to a private forum where you can discuss and share feedback directly with the community team and Bethesda Game Studios.

There's a lot more coming with Bethesda.net community features (including MODS!). We look forward sharing more news soon.

Let's Go, Pals!
