Prey - #MooncrashMania Charity Streaming Event

During E3 week, eight marvelous streamers participated in #MooncrashMania, a very special charity streaming event.

All eight streamers took to their individual channels to play Prey: Mooncrash while raising money for Astronomers Without Borders, a nonprofit that aims to bring space education to everyone.

We’d like to extend a special congratulations to CohhCarnage, who slayed Typhon and escaped the moon first and fastest, while also raising over $9,000 for Astronomers Without Borders! To celebrate this incredible achievement, Bethesda will be donating $15,000 to AWB in Cohh’s name. We’d also like to mention that Cohh’s best time for a full simulation escape with all five characters is 34:16. You know, in case any of you might want to usurp the winner’s throne with a faster time.

In just one week, they raised a total of $12,744.72! With our additional donation, Astronomers Without Borders will be receiving a grand total of $27,744.72. Astronomers Without Borders president, Mike Simmons, has this to say to #MooncrashMania participants, and everyone who donated:

“This was a great opportunity for Astronomers Without Borders. We do a lot with very little, thanks to the global astronomy community, so this will really give our programs a big boost. We're so appreciative of the Bethesda team and their community. We're all space geeks, after all.”
