What are the minimum and recommended specs to play DEATHLOOP on PC?

The minimum system requirements for DEATHLOOP are:

- Memory: 12GB RAM

How much storage will DEATHLOOP take up on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S?

DEATHLOOP takes up approximately 32GB on PlayStation 5, and approximately 36.5GB on Xbox Series X|S

Are there difficulty settings in DEATHLOOP?

There is no traditional difficulty selection in this game. The difficulty works off an internal “Loop Stress system” that is not outwardly visible to players. The better the player is performing (killing visionaries and not dying) the more difficult the game becomes. However, many settings that affect overall difficulty can be changed to suit your preferences through the Accessibility menu. Learn more about the game’s accessibility options here.

How does “Loop Stress” impact invasions?

Increased Loop Stress ups the chance of an invasion, either by an AI Julianna or by another player, if the user has allowed invasions. Additionally, the player is slightly more likely to be invaded in evening time period, and invasions can only take place in maps with a visionary target. Users can set invasions off, which stops any players from invading their game—although they will still get AI Julianna invaders. They can also set invasions to friends only, to only allow players on their friends list to invade them.

Is there Crossplay in DEATHLOOP?

With the GOLDENLOOP Update, DEATHLOOP now has cross-platform PvP matchmaking across PSN, Xbox, Steam, Epic and the Microsoft Store environments. You can set your Cross-Platform Matchmaking setting to Any (all platforms) or Same (just your platform), and you can also set your Cross-Platform Matchmaking controller to Any (all controller types) or Same (just the one you’re using). Crossplay allows you to randomly matchmake against other players.

Can I invade my friends on other platforms?

When it comes to invading your friends’ games, you can only invade a friend who plays on the same platform as you. The exceptions are if you are both using Microsoft accounts, as that account can be shared across Xbox Series X|S and the Windows Store, or if you have linked your Steam account and your Epic account, which would allow you to play with friends through Steam and the Epic Game Store.

I’m not seeing my Deluxe or Pre-Order items. Where are they?

For Colt’s Deluxe and Pre-Order items, you can find them in his arsenal menu, after you complete the tutorial mission “The Longest Day.” For Julianna’s Deluxe and Pre-Order items, you can find them in her arsenal menu after completing Julianna’s tutorial in Protect the Loop mode.

How do I redeem my Arkane Outsiders incentive items?

First, join the Arkane Outsiders (if you haven’t already!):
1. Create a Bethesda.net account, or log in to your existing account.
2. Sign-up to the Arkane Outsider Club with your Bethesda.net account.
3. Go to your Transaction History for verification of this bonus content.

Then, to access the incentive items once in-game:

4. Launch DEATHLOOP
5. Sign into the game with your Bethesda.net account
6. Start a new game (« Break the Loop »)
7. Play through the end of "THE LONGEST DAY" and you will receive your items automatically

From the main menu, go to Colt's loadout menus to get access to the unlocked items (Weapon & Character Items).

Is DEATHLOOP a roguelike?

Deathloop is not a roguelike. You retain campaign progress and you’ll have the option to spend Residuum – a resource earned by exploring and taking out targets – to permanently unlock weapons, abilities and upgrades across loops, meaning you won’t have to start from the very beginning every time you die or the day restarts.

What happens to weapons that I drop in-game?

If you drop something you already have infused with Residuum while in a mission, it will be added back into your arsenal inventory at the start of the next day. Additionally, if you already have a Slab infused, you will always pick up an upgrade for the Slab (instead of the Slab itself), even if it isn't currently in your loadout.

I’m trying to speedrun DEATHLOOP, but I don’t see a timer when I’m in a mission.

There are no timers in DEATHLOOP. A mission won’t show a player’s time until the mission is complete.

Some of the achievements and trophies associated with Visionaries aren’t popping. What gives?

Some trophies and achievements attached to specific Visionaries might not unlock the first time you encounter that Visionary. In these cases, they can only be completed when that Visionary's Lead has been unlocked.
