*As we approach the end of the Year of DOOM, we want to take a moment to give props to all you amazing artists in the Slayers Club who sent us your art.
The Slayers Club is here to stay, but we thought we would close out this year by bringing some special attention to some of the DOOM fan art that’s caught our eye. PRO TIP: Open each image in a new tab to enjoy them in their full-sized glory!*
We’re starting off strong with this badass Hellknight by (checks notes) Hellknight10. We’re not saying it’s a self-portrait, but it’s clear Hellknight10 knows how to capture the Hellknight’s natural menace.
CubeyDoom is giving DOOM 3 some love with this lovely red ode to its winged monstrosity of a boss, The Maledict. The overwhelmed DOOM Marine, complete with the Artifact, rounds out the piece nicely.
This piece, submitted by Glorious Gorifcation is just so full of energy. The agape profile of the vicious Cacodemon somehow feels even more deadly and alien thanks to the use of contrast and a neon-soaked green and pink palette – it makes us yearn for a Super Shotgun and some sour watermelon gum.
BrutalBloodlust is clearly excited for DOOM Eternal, as the piece they submitted shows the latest iteration of the DOOM Slayer Meathooking his way into a gang of demons for some midair justice. The foreboding silhouette of what appears to be a Cyberdemon is a nice touch!
