DOOM (2016)
Choosing a favorite demon from DOOM is like choosing a favorite child.

Nevertheless, we’ve assembled a list of the five biggest, baddest, and/or simply best that the legions of Hell have to offer. Got a personal favorite? Let us know your favorites in the comments below!
5. THE IMP
DOOM (1993) technically threw one other enemy type at you before the Imp made its appearance, but it was this spiky fellow’s debut that solidified the idea that DOOM was an altogether different game with altogether different enemies.
From humble beginnings, this fireball-flinging foe has become a staple of the entire DOOM franchise. Notable variations include the transparent Nightmare Imp in DOOM 64 (which appeared alongside a refined version of the original) and the heavily modified, ten-eyed model in DOOM 3. An even deadlier – and terrifyingly acrobatic – version arrived in DOOM (2016), forcing players to keep one eye on walls and ceilings, lest they be assaulted from above.
While not the strongest enemy on this list, the Imp’s appearance at DOOM’s beginnings and everlasting presence throughout the franchise as Hell’s #1 grunt guarantees it a spot on this list. The Imp proved in its earliest moments that DOOM was destined to be something different - something special.
