Choosing a favorite demon from DOOM is like choosing a favorite child.

They can be challenging, generally incomprehensible and vicious at times, but each is special and you can’t help but love them all equally.

2. THE REVENANT

If you had to imagine an enemy that screams the word “DOOM,” a lumbering skeletal demon with two, count ‘em, two rocket launchers mounted on its shoulders would be a very good place to start.

Congratulations! You’ve just conjured a Revenant, a terrifyingly fast fellow that made its first appearance in DOOM II and returned, largely unchanged, for DOOM 3.

Now, let’s give it a jetpack. Because apparently “giant, missile-slinging skeleton” didn’t sound lethal enough, DOOM (2016)’s Revenant can also fly. It’s no wonder Hell’s skinless living artillery has found his place in the hearts of many a DOOM fan and the occasional brass ensemble.
