The High Five: Beetle Vault, Arcade Cabinet and Blast Radius

They’re all part of this week’s hand-picked batch of creations from the talented Bethesda community. Curious? You should be! From the Wasteland to the depths of Hell, enjoy this week’s Bethesda High Five.
Fallout 4 – Beetle Mini Vault
We bugged out at the sight of this Vault 111 beetle terrarium. This LEGO-filled, hand-crafted mini Vault by Valentyn on Imgur is home to a group of flying Flower Beetles. (Sadly they don’t have a long life expectancy, so the guest list rotates often.) Imagine all the beetles who’ve come together to enjoy a day in the life of this insect paradise after a hard day’s night (Beatles puns intentional).
Fallout 4 – Blast Radius
Every Wasteland explorer has surely come across a dusty Blast Radius box. Tumblr’s crafty Clownpaillasse recreated his own real life box based on the widely popular nuclear-infused board game, and even uploaded a cutout of the artwork so you’re able to print your own copy. There’s even more Fallout-related packaging cutouts on his Tumblr page – everything from Mentats to Fancy Lads cakes – so you can have yourself a blast!
DOOM – Cacodemon
Coochie coochie coo! Who’s the cutie patootie with that come hither stare? It’s DOOM’s Cacodemon – he sure is a sight for sore eye(s). Visual designer Theis Møller Jakobsen said that he was so amped after viewing the latest DOOM trailer, he decided to recreate the orb-shaped opponent. He sure has an eye for artwork.
Fallout 3 – Vault 101 Fallout Arcade Cabinet
Game on, Vault Dwellers! Brothers Joseph and Richard Houff created their very own Fallout-themed “Vault-Tec Radiation King Arcade System, decked out with an arcade fight stick, Vault-Tec colors and branding. Internally, the cabinet is powered by a Raspberry Pi 2 and an Xbox 360, perfect for revisiting Vault 101 in style. Well done, master crafters!
Fallout 4 – Piper Makes a Publick Appearance
