July 23 BATTLEMODE Update
DOOM® Eternal
This update for DOOM Eternal features BATTLEMODE balance changes for ALL platforms and does not require any download.
Balance Changes for PC Only
REVENANT
ROCKET BARRAGE - ROUND UPGRADE
- Ability cooldown increased from 18s to 30s
- Self-Damage scale increased from .5 to 5
- Direct Damage for each rocket decreased from 3 to 1
- Max splash damage increased from 4 to 6
- Min splash damage increased from 2 to 4
PAIN ELEMENTAL
SOUL SHIELD
- Ability duration increased from 3.5s to 4s
INSTANT RESURRECT - POWER UPGRADE
- Ability cooldown increased from 90s to 120s
Balance Changes for Console Only
SLAYER
AMMO
- Increased energy cell ammo from 200 to 225
- Increased shotgun shell ammo from 16 to 20
- Increased rocket ammo from 9 to 12
ALL PLAYER DEMONS
INSTANT RESURRECT - POWER UPGRADE
- Ability cooldown increased from 90s to 150s
TEAM HEAL - POWER UPGRADE
- Heal amount reduced from 25% to 20%
- Ability cooldown incresed from 90s to 120s
RE-SUMMON AI Change
When Player Demons re-summon AI, they will now drop shotgun ammo for The Slayer
Known Issues
ALL Player Demons
INSTANT RESURRECT & TEAM HEAL - Power Upgrades
- Due to our current ability cooldown values exceeding more than 2 digits on Instant Ressurect and Team Heal Power Upgrades, (now up to 3 digits), the UI will not display the full cooldown. This will be fixed in an upcoming patch.
Revenant’s UNSTABLE TRIGGER Upgrade
- Current description states: “Your Rocket Barrage ability refreshes 3 seconds quicker and shoots more rockets”
- This is inconsistent with the in-game behavior after the latest BATTLEMODE balance changes
Revenant’s ACROBAT Upgrade
- Current description states: “Your Jetpack has 40% more capacity, recharges 1 second sooner after touching the ground & Afterburner no longer has a penalty for running out of fuel”
- This is inconsistent with the in-game behavior after the latest BATTLEMODE balance changes
Revenant’s DEMONIC ONSLAUGHT Power Upgrade
- Current description states: “Increases your damage output 25% for 10 seconds”
- This is inconsistent with the in-game behavior after the latest BATTLEMODE balance changes
- No Armored Buff status message will appear when this is activated
