The paranormal streets of Tokyo are full of secrets to uncover, from hidden Relics to indescribable events. Not only will diving into these surreal phenomena immerse you deeper into the world of Ghostwire, but they also often lead to crucial rewards that can help you grow strong enough to save the city.

But where to start? While there’s no harm in wandering at your own discretion, here are some suggestions for a spectral tourist looking to go off the beaten path. Just don’t forget to open up Photo Mode every so often to save something for the scrapbook. Though we may describe a few of these activities in brief, have no fear: no story spoilers ahead!

TAKE IN AN ART VIEWING

A local shrine is said to house a stunning dragon mural on display, only it's gone missing! Get to the bottom of this disappearance by uncovering the “Art Imitates Life” side mission. Curiously, the painting appears fully intact…it’s only the dragon itself that has vanished.

WATCH THE CHERRY BLOSSOMS BLOOM

It must be peak season, because Tokyo’s cherry blossom trees are a sight to behold! Except, something’s a little off about these petals…do they seem extra red to you? Follow the “Bloodthirsty Blossoms” quest to get to the root of these suspiciously sanguine sakura.

GO FISHING BY THE RIVER

A large body of water in Tokyo could hold an elusive prey worth your while: a Kappa! These aquatic yokai are legendarily tricky to capture, but if there was some way to get it to drop its guard, you might just earn yourself something valuable for your trouble.

RIDE THE TRAIN

We have heard tales of a train that arrives at night when no one is around. Should you decide to board it, you’ll be whisked off to “A Stop in the Void,” a mission to find a station said to not exist on any map – and from which no one has ever returned. It’s probably just a myth, but there’s only one way to be sure…

PLAY HIDE AND SEEK

You’re never too old to have a little childish fun! A young lad you come across during “Hide and Seek” is keen to challenge your seeking skills across Shibuya – not too tough with that Spectral Vision ability of yours, right? That said, we have gotten reports that it’s best to stick to seeking, lest the kid finds you.
