You’re left stranded in Shibuya Crossing, spared but left with nothing but questions. To make matters worse, Visitors from underworld descend upon the city, seemingly manifested by a masked occultist named Hannya. To uncover the truth, you’ll hone your own ethereal abilities and face the unknown in Ghostwire: Tokyo.

Tango Gameworks presents a vision of an ultra-modern Tokyo besieged by supernatural creatures and urban legends brought to life. Developed for next-generation PlayStation 5 and PC technology, the cityscape of skyscrapers, traditional shrines, narrow alleyways, massive crossings and neon-lit shops are rendered with incredible detail – both realistic and otherworldly.

The Visitors you encounter are no mere apparitions. To combat supernatural threats, you'll learn to employ a variety of techniques, including one known as Ethereal Weaving – an art fusing spiritual energy with fire, water and wind to perform powerful elemental attacks.

As you explore the haunted streets of Tokyo, you’ll make allies- both conventional and supernatural - and develop your abilities before Hannya’s final plans are made manifest. You’ll also encounter hostile Visitors with unique attack patterns, weaknesses and methods for anticipating them that will put your skills to work, such as:

• Agile spirits in the form of headless high school students roving the streets in groups and using speed and acrobatics to catch you off-guard
• Dolls based off traditional teru teru bozu weather charms that fly through the air as if hoisted on invisible strings and shoot fire from a distance
• Faceless ghosts roaming rainy environments in funeral attire that can deflect attacks with their umbrella and approach to strike at close-range
