Gamescom, the world's biggest gaming convention, is at the starting gate.

The situation this year has remained unchanged, which is why gamescom is digital for the second year running – beginning with the Opening Night Live by Geoff Keighley on August 25 and followed by four days packed with streams in both German and English.

Here are some of the highlights you can look forward to:

Thursday

7 p.m. – Welcome to #BGC2021

Starting gamescom 2021 together in conversation over the coming days – developer talks, cosplay, exciting interviews, thrilling gameplay, and much more!

8 p.m. – "How to Gamescom?!" | In conversation with Chris Bauer

We all know just how much of an awesome affair gamescom is! But what exactly needs to happen to make such a massive event possible? Chris Bauer from Game Verband is our guest for a peek behind the scenes of gamescom.

Friday

7 p.m. – Bethesda & Xbox | In conversation with Aaron and Pete

Pete Hines and Aaron Greenberg are our guests, telling us about Bethesda and Xbox – what's it like being a family, what's changed, and what can we look forward to in the future. Plus: why does Aaron have such a massive fan-shirt collection and what's the deal with the fridge?!

Alea, the lead singer of Saltatio Mortis, returns to the stream so that we can play, talk shop, and make music together. (Don't worry, he'll be the one making the music.)
