The Elder Scrolls® Online
Buy GameJust revealed during both the Xbox and Bethesda Developer_Direct and ESO Global Reveal, The Elder Scrolls Online: Necrom arrives June 5 on PC/Mac and June 20 on Xbox and PlayStation consoles.
ESO’s next big Chapter and adventure introduces a new class to master, zones to explore, and a sinister mystery to unravel as part of the Shadow Over Morrowind saga!
Manipulate the Power of Oblivion
For the first time since The Elder Scrolls Online: Elsweyr, Necrom includes one of the ESO community’s most-requested new features to the game, an all-new class called the Arcanist. With three unique skill lines, Herald of the Tome, Curative Runeforms, and Apocryphal Soldier, the Arcanist draws power from Apocrypha, Hermaeus Mora’s realm of Oblivion. The powerful new active, passives, and ultimate abilities provide plenty of options for damage dealers, tanks, and healers alike, allowing you to launch arcane projectiles, explosively absorb almost any attack, summon portals to help your allies navigate the battlefield, and much more.
The Arcanist class also introduces the new Crux system, which allows select abilities to generate a new resource, called Crux, that you can spend to empower other abilities. How you gather and utilize your Crux defines the way you play your Arcanist. Learn and master Hermaeus Mora’s gifts well.
Venture into the Unknown
Of course, it wouldn’t be a new Chapter without new worlds to explore, and Necrom provides two new zones for Tamriel’s adventurers: the Telvanni Peninsula and Apocrypha. The Telvanni Peninsula can be found along the eastern coast of mainland Morrowind and is home to the mages of House Telvanni and Necrom with its city of the dead. This is the first time since The Elder Scrolls: Arena, that you and your fellow players can delve deep into this solemn spiritual center for all Dark Elves.

In addition to the new zone in Tamriel, in this new Chapter you can also explore Apocrypha. For the first time in ESO, you can venture into the Daedric Prince of Knowledge’s world and discover the mind-bending wonders of the Endless Library.
Within these two zones, you can encounter many unique quests, NPCs, challenges (such as world bosses, delves, public dungeons, a Trial, and an all-new kind of world event), and rewards. This includes new achievements, titles, item sets, collectibles, and more. You don’t have to go it alone, however, as Necrom also introduces two new companions to join you in your adventures: the Redguard Arcanist Azandar Al-Cybiades and Argonian Warden Sharp-as-Night!
Shadow Over Morrowind
As part of the Shadow Over Morrowind adventure, the Necrom Chapter continues and expands upon a story that begins with the Scribes of Fate DLC in March. Hermaeus Mora’s realm of Apocrypha is under threat from a mysterious foe, and the Prince of Knowledge needs a champion to help protect a secret that if revealed could unravel reality itself.

While both Necrom and the Scribes of Fate releases contain standalone stories, they also drive the larger Shadow Over Morrowind adventure. What you encounter in the dungeons of the Scribes of Fate DLC can inform and have consequences for the characters and events within Necrom. A compelling, intertwined tale of two worlds awaits!
