Bethesda Goes Local With COVID-19 Charitable Donations

As part of our #BethesdaAtHome campaign to help and support global communities during the COVID-19 pandemic, we recently announced a $1,000,000 donation to an array of international and local charities. Along with $500,000 to Direct Relief and $250,000 to UNICEF, we designated the final $250,000 to be donated to local communities where we work and live.

Our studios and business offices around the world have since selected a range of deserving organizations. These wide-reaching causes include food banks, domestic abuse services, combating child poverty, providing WiFi networks in underserved neighborhoods, and supporting health care workers, research centers, hospitals and pet shelters.

Here’s a look at the local charities our offices have selected:

Capital Area Food Bank
(ZeniMax Media, Bethesda Softworks, Bethesda Game Studios, Bethesda.net)

Along with our contributions, we want to thank all of you for doing your part. As part of our #BethesdaAtHome streams, we’ve included the opportunity for you to contribute to the same charities we’re supporting, and in the past weeks you’ve exceeded the goals we had set. Thank you for your generosity!

We’ll continue streaming from our home offices, and we’ll continue to offer you the opportunity to help the same charities we’re supporting, including some of these local charities. Be sure to check out our social channels for updated stream schedules, or tune in to Twitch.tv/bethesda.

Stay safe, stay healthy – and stay connected with #BethesdaAtHome.
